About:
Sarah Gerle, one of my senior captains, lost her Mother when she was 11 years old to Breast Cancer. Her Mother’s best friend adopted Sarah and her Brother and suffered Breast Cancer herself-but has been cancer-free for 5 years. The NY Cancer and Blood Specialists helped Sarah’s mother feel at ease during her stages of cancer. We wanted to give back to them by donating to their organization in memory of Danielle.
